Job Overview: A Sales Executive for a Freight Forwarding Company is responsible for generating new business and managing client relationships in the logistics and transportation industry. This role involves identifying potential customers, understanding their shipping needs, and offering comprehensive freight forwarding solutions. The Sales Executive plays a crucial role in driving revenue and ensuring the growth and success of the company.
- Prospect and identify potential clients through market research and networking.
- Build a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities.
- Cold call, email, and schedule meetings to introduce company services.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients.
- Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and support.
- Regularly check in with clients to assess their satisfaction and address any issues.
- Ensure enough commercial visits have been done to generate business (5 to 10 per week)
Negotiation and Closing:
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing agreements with clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that client expectations are met.
- Close sales deals and secure new business contracts.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and results.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to the management team.
- Ensure all sales-related documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Proven experience in sales or business development in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics concepts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Experience in same field is a must
